Is the LTTE beating war drums?

According to an Asian Tribune report dated December 17, the LTTE intends withdrawing from the ceasefire agreement signed jointly by Ranil Wickremesinghe, former Prime Minister of the United National Front (UNF) Government and Velupillai Prabhakaran, leader of the LTTE in February 2002.

This ceasefire agreement was co-signed by the Government of Norway as the guarantor of the international community.

The Asian Tribune quoted analysts in Colombo believing that if the LTTE withdraws from the ceasefire agreement it would be a slap in the face for the international community.
