The tournament committee of Sri Lanka Cricket have decided to postpone the Premier division one knock out limited overs cricket tournament final between Tamil Union and Chilaw Marians SC which was scheduled to be played on Sunday under lights at the R. Premadasa Stadium.

Heavy rains in the past few days have washed out several matches including the semifinal between Galle CC and Tamil Union at the same venue and the tournament committee unanimously decided to postpone the final too considering the present whether conditions.

The P. Saravanamuttu trophy division one cricket tournament semifinals too which were scheduled to be played this weekend have been postponed and the new dates will be announced later.
