President, the Prime Minister of India, the President of the ruling
Congress Party Sonia Gandhi, former PM Mr. Vajpayee, Finance Minister P.
Chidambaram, BJP President Mr. Advani and other prominent leaders of
consequence in India. She also met the CEO's of the major trading
companies in India and invited them to get involved in trade-investment in
Sri Lanka reminding them Indian majors IOC, Taj Hotels, CEAT, Apollo
Hospitals, L&T, Ambujas, Tata and Ashok Leyland are already present in
Sri Lanka and richer by the experience are planning to increase their
