Dutch TV crew to tour tsunami hit areas on fact-finding mission

The TV Crew from NOS TV News Netherlands arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday in order to report facts about the damage caused by the tidal waves. The crew comprises of Ms. Nicola Le Fever, Hans Burgers and Bart Drolenga.

The crew met Netherlands Alumni Association of Lanka President S. P. C. Kumarasinghe and Treasurer Sumana Liyanage in Colombo yesterday morning before they left for Galle. The Dutch TV Crew will also meet the Southern Range DIG D. W. Prathapasinghe, Galle Senior SP Lasantha de Silva and the Galle Mayor.

Kumarasinghe said that the Dutch TV crew have come here with the blessings of the Mayor and the Citizens of Velsen and the Netherlands Alumni Association in this difficult time in order to create an awareness among Dutch Citizens about the disaster.
