SLLRDC support for disaster victims

Initial action is being taken immediately by the Minister of Urban Development and Water Supply Dinesh Gunawardene and the Chairman Land Reclamation and Development Corporation Somaweera Chandrasiri collaboration with Trade Unions and other Organizations, in order to support thousands of victims of sudden Islandwide over flow of the sea.

A public assistance fund of Rs. one million also has been established by offer of one day's salary of all staff of the Corporation in addition to collection of dry food items, clothes, canned foods etc., and the Chairman invites for any fund or contributions of the staff and related organizations.

Those who are willing to contribute in this effort can hand over the materials or offerings to the Head Office of the Corporation at Rajagiriya and contact through the following numbers for further details.
