Nissan Motor Company trains motor vehicle technicians

Nissan Motor Company conducted a training program for motor vehicle technicians for the first time in Sri Lanka by a trainer sent from Japan who also provided the training manuals from the parent company. The program was arranged by Associated Motorways Limited.

The Nissan company has also arranged two motor vehicle technicians from Bangladesh and Nepal to attend the program in Colombo which was conducted by trainer Naokazu Hashimoto of Nissan Company Japan.

The five-day training program was inaugurated on December 20 at the Orugodawatte training institute by Tilak de Zoysa Deputy Chairman / Managing Director of Associated Motorways Limited.

De Zoysa said that the main purpose of arranging the training program was to upgrade skills of technicians to enable them to perform repairs with high quality workmanship to satisfy the needs of demanding customers. Hashimoto said he was very happy to be in Sri Lanka to conduct the training program and added that it will benefit technicians immensely.
