Kalutara Bodhi Trust appeals to the public

Chairman of Kalutara Bodhi Trust, Ajita de Zoysa has informed that a fund has been established to provide relief to those who are affected by the damage caused by the tidal waves.

In pursuance of this objective a fund of Rs. 1 million has been established initially. Any person desirous in helping may contribute to the following account at Bank of Ceylon, Kalutara branch, A/C No. 160143274 - "Kalutara Bodhi Disaster Relief Fund".

In addition to financial assistance to this fund, persons desirous of donating dry rations, drinking water and items of clothing could do so to the Kalutara Bodhiya.

Such items received at the Kalutara Bodhiya will be distributed immediately to the persons in dire need of such relief.

Ajita de Soysa appealed to all people at this time of sorrow and need to join hands forgetting political, racial and religious differences and unite in this hour of need.
