This is in view of the displacement of a large number of public servants and the disruption of transport and other factors following the devastation, he told a press briefing at the Opposition Leader's Office in Colombo. The MP said most homes belonging to public servants which were destroyed were built from housing loans and urged that the state forgo these loans in view of the victims' tragedy. |
