GENEVA, Sunday (AFP) The United Nations is urging donor governments to turn more of their
four-billion dollar pledges of aid for victims of the deadly tsunamis into
reality at an international meeting in Geneva on Tuesday. "Now we
have to transform these contributions into cash. The watchword is
cash," said Elisabeth Byrs, a spokeswoman for the UN's humanitarian
