Korean businessman donates $ 5,000

Suh, Young-Kyo, a Korean businessman has donated US $ 5,000. for the welfare of tsunami affected people. The Korean Trade office, "KOTRA-Colombo", handed over the donation to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse through the Korean Ambassador in Sri Lanka Lim, Jae-Hong.

Young-Kyo visited Sri Lanka thrice during last two years to promote business. A spokesman for KOTRA said that he was terribly moved and was really eager to provide some kind of assistance to those affected in Sri Lanka.

Suh is confident that several other Korean businessmen in Korea would do likewise as most of them had heard about Sri Lanka as a friendly and a hospitable nation.
