Huawei Technologies has delivered telecom equipment

Huawei Technologies has delivered telecom equipment totally worth over USD 2 million in aid to the tsunami-hit nations of Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to cope with their telecommunications network reconstruction after the disaster.

The Company presented USD 100,000 to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapakse last Friday at Temple Trees.

The employees of the company has donated one third of their salary towards the Tsunami victims and the company is also planning to donate telecom equipment worth USD 600,000 for the Government in the future.
