EPDPer allegedly abducted by LTTE by Ananda Pathiraja The Vavuniya Police is investigating into a complaint regarding the alleged abduction of an EPDP member by LTTE cadres in Vavuniya town on Thursday January 20. Vavuniya Police OIC Inspector Abeysinghe Bandara said according to the complaint, Vaithiyalingam Jeganathan (22) a member of the EPDP had been allegedly abducted by LTTE cadres while he was returning home from an EPDP camp around 2.30 p.m. on Thursday. Jeganathan's relatives have also lodged a complaint with the ceasefire monitoring committee regarding the incident. |
