Sri Lanka needs US$1.5 b for rebuilding

Sri Lanka will need approximately US$ 1.5 billion to effectively implement a recovery and reconstruction strategy according to a preliminary damage and needs assessment released yesterday by the Asian Development Bank, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation and the World Bank.
