Wisdom - the aim of higher education
I trust that I have been invited not only in my capacity as the Chief Justice of this country, but also in my capacity as the Chairman of the Mahapola Trust Fund. The picturesque land of over 25 acres with an undulating terrain and these magnificent buildings belong to the Mahapola Trust Fund. The Fund has met almost the entirety of the construction costs of these buildings with an outright payment of nearly Rs. 374 Million and a Loan Re-payment of nearly Rs. 144 Million, totalling a commitment of over Rs. 517 Million.
