Kabool back in operations as Thultex

 

THE garment factory at Thulhiriya, operations of which was wound up by Kabool Lanka Pvt Ltd, will be reopened in May allowing about 3,700 employees to resume work, Finance Ministry sources said. Deputy Finance Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya who met trade union representatives informed them that the garment factory will be reopened under the name Thultex International (Pvt) Ltd, in partnership with a Philippines based company.
