LTTE said to collect Rs. 100 from tsunami victims

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) is said to be collecting at the rate of Rs. 100 from the Ampara district tsunami victims living in camps and who receive money as part of the relief, Eastern sources said.

This behaviour of the LTTE has become injurious to the victims and the Human Rights Organisations say that the LTTE collecting money from the tsunami victims is another inhumane work program.

The Asian Tribune web reported quoting a TNA MP that the LTTE keeps on massacring their opponents to cleanse the Tamil Nation.

The report further said that the TNA MP had compared the killing of opponents to removing weeds from a paddy field.
