Soaring prices no fault of Govt - Minister Anura Bandaranaike

Tourism, Investment Promotion and Industries Minister Anura Bandaranaike said no one can blame the Government for the increasing prices of goods as even US President George Bush has mentioned that he too needs a magic wand to control soaring oil prices in the world market. Addressing the People's Alliance May Day rally at Galle Face Green on Sunday, the Minister said some sections were trying to blame the President for the increasing prices of goods.
