Lanka at South Asian Travel Tourism Exchange |

Sri Lanka Tourist Board participated at the 12th South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange which was held at Pragathi Maidan, New Delhi India from April 21 to 24. SATTE continues to represent the composition of all segments of travel and tourism industry of this region on a common business platform. It is focused on buyer-seller meet in two different categories such as Inbound Tourism into the region where international buyers meet the sellers from within India and the second category of India Outbound where sellers from overseas will meet the Indian Agents. The delegation was led by Tourist Board Chairman Udaya Nanaykkara who was presented a special award by SATTE as the pioneer in South Asia Tourism. A ten member Sri Lankan dance troupe performed at the travel fair attracting crowds to the pavilion. A special Sri Lankan evening with entertainment was also organised for corporates at Le Meridien Hotel on April 23 with the presence of celebrities.Here the team with Tourist Board Chairman Udaya Nanyakkara. |
