Win exotic honeymoons with Emirates holidays

Love is in the air as Emirates takes honeymooning to new heights through an exciting new on-air promotion with two of Sri Lanka's most popular radio stations.

The Dubai-based international airline is offering couples who will tie the knot any time from mid-June to December, the chance to win two romantic overseas honeymoons courtesy of its tour operating arm, Emirates Holidays. The packages, to the Maldives and Singapore, include air travel and four-star accommodation for three nights with breakfast, and can be won by participating in competitions that will be conducted in June and July on TNL Lite's 'Lite Cafe' on weekday mornings, and Classic Radio's 'Classic Drive' on weekday evenings.

The competitions are intended to generate awareness amongst Sri Lankans of the exciting range of special honeymoon packages that are available through Emirates Holidays to exotic destinations such as: Mauritius, the Seychelles, Casablanca, Cape Town, Istanbul, Vienna, Venice and Paris.

Emirates Sales Manager Colombo Devika Ellepola said: "Our intention is to encourage honeymooners and others seeking a romantic getaway to look at the stunning overseas options available. Emirates Holidays offers a range of very competitively prices packages to ideal honeymoon destinations, which are much more affordable than many would imagine."

For example, a three night package to the Maldives, at a four star resort hotel with breakfast and dinner, inclusive of Economy Class air fares, speed boat transfers, room taxes and service charges is available from Rs. 87,600 for a couple, with the accommodation component working out to just Rs. 9,000 per person per day, she said.

"With Emirates Holidays guaranteeing the quality of all properties and services, and taking care of all arrangements including transfers and excursions, these packages provide the perfect start to wedded life," Ms Ellepola said. Emirates Holidays is the tour operating arm of Emirates Airline and the largest wholesale tour operator in the Gulf and Middle East.

From Colombo, Emirates operates 13 services a week to Dubai and four services a week to Singapore and Jakarta, providing travellers with convenient connections to over 70 destinations across the globe.
