PTFOA wants VAT on tea removed
 

THE Private Tea Factory Owners' Association (PTFOA) requests the Government to remove the Value Added Tax (VAT) on tea, for the smooth function of the industry, which is fighting for its survival.

Hanjin feeder calls JCT
 

HANJIN commenced a new feeder service CIX - Ceylon-India Express on 20.07.2005 with the first vessel M.V. Hanjin Busan with a capacity of 1150 TEUs calling JCT. This follows its partner COSCO's maiden call on July 13, 2005.
