Trade between Sri Lanka and Pakistan increasing

 

The Sri Lanka-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement, signed in June would lead to a rapid trade increase between the two countries, said Pakistan's High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Bashir Wali Mohmand, the Chief Guest at the inauguration of Profoods/Propack 2005 Exhibition which was held last Friday in Colombo.

Kandy SC makes it seven-in-a-row

Goal decides fate of 'A' division rugby title


It was rugby block buster as the defending champions Kandy Sports Club pipped CR and FC at the post to beat them 23 points (1 goal, 2. tries, 1 penalty, 1 drop goal) to 15 (3 tries) and also lift the Caltex League title for the seventh successive year in the final league championship match played before a full house at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday.
