Tamara bags world prize for Port Agency

TAMARA de Silva of World Link Shipping won the world prize for Port Agency at the ICS UK Examination in April 2005. She has been invited for the Annual Award Ceremony to be held at the Drapers Hall in London on September 28.

World prize for Port Agency is given to students who obtain the highest marks in the foundation diploma.

It is an honour to ICS SL for producing a world prize winner once again highlighting the country in world shipping. She has been sponsored to London by World Link Shipping Managing Director Vera Wickremasinghe.

ICS, being recognised as the only professional qualification for shore based shipping, will be commencing its Foundation Diploma and Qualifying Examination Classes in October 2005 and AL students may embark on a shipping career by registering with ICS UK Examinations.
