Tourist arrivals on the rise
 

The latest statistics of the Research and International Affairs Division of the Sri Lanka Tourist Board have indicated 362,049 tourist arrivals from January to August 2005 this year, SLTB Director General S. Kalaiselvam said. The arrivals was as against 324,105 during the same period of 2004. This is an 11.7 per cent increase.
