SWRD Memorial Lecture

The S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike memorial lecture 2005 will be delivered at 4 p.m. today at the BMICH Committee Room A by Dr. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa of the Mass Communications Faculty., University of Kelaniya. The theme of this year's lecture is the "Path of the National Movement and its Vision for the Future".

The event, organised by Western Province Governor Alavi Mowlana, will be chaired by S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike Commemoration Committee Chairman Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse. Ministers Maithripala Sirisena and Anura Bandaranaike and Mrs. Sunethra Bandaranaike will grace the occasion.
