Death anniversary of M.H.M. Ashraff

All arrangements have been completed for the Fifth Death Anniversary of SLMC Leader M.H.M. Ashraff at the Oluvil SLPA Ashraff Peace Square on October 1, said Minister of Rural Industries H. Segu Issadeen and Deputy Minister of Information and Media.

The meeting will be presided by Minister of Ports, Development and Aviation and Deputy Minister of Education Mangala Samaraweera. The Chief Guest will be Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse and the Guest of Honour will be Minister of Housing Development, East Education and Irrigation Development Minister of Housing Ferial Ashraff.

The remembrance day function sponsored by the Muslim Majlie of the SLPA will be of two stages from 08.00 a.m. to 02 p.m.

The first stage will be of Congregational Begging for the Blessings to the Late Ashraff and will be followed by recitation of Holy Quran and conclude with offering of meals.

The second stage will be the meeting where Politicians, Ulemas will deliver the memorial speechs.
