Lankan Attorney to help Pakistani quake victims

Sri Lankan senior Attorney-at-Law Upali Senaratne who was in the UK
recently discussed with lawyers of Pakistani origin and Sri Lankans of
helping displaced, homeless and parentless students in Pakistan
following the recent earth quake.
Senaratne wrote to the Asia Pacific Coconut Community where he played
a keyrole as the Chairman of the Coconut Development Authority.
Senaratne said the aid could be channelled through Pakistani
Embassies in their countries and no one will be individually responsible
for collections of any cash or other material. |
