'Mahinda Chintana' launch today

UPFA Presidential candidate Mahinda Rajapakse's election manifesto 'Mahinda Chintana' will be presented to the public at a simple ceremony today at the BMICH, Colombo.

The event will be telecast live over Rupavahini and Swarnavahini and broadcast on Lakhanda from 10.30 a.m.

Scholars, artistes, professionals and leaders of political parties supporting the Prime Minister will be present.

'Mahinda Chintana' was unveiled at Temple Trees on Sunday where it was presented to leaders of all political parties backing the Prime Minister.

The 55 page document includes proposals to uplift the national economy with the accent on the rural economy and also to activate the State sector.
