The  Average Weighted Prime Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week ended 06th January, 2006 by all commercial banks were 12.42 percent and 10.50 per cent respectively.
The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of Commercial banks for the month of December, 2005 was 06.24 percent.
