Women soldiers win Indoor rugby tourney

IN a exciting women's final between Army Women and Slimeline in the inaugural Indoor rugby tournament organised by the Austasia Sports Club sponsored by Keells (Food) Group was watched by a colourful crowd at Talawatugoda yesterday.

In the women's final Sri Lanka Army fought a relentless battle. At the long whistle it was 10-all. In extra time the Army scored the winning try through Priyani Lankara to win 15-10 Referee Tony Wimalasuriya.

In the men's final Kandy "Cubs" had their own way to outplay Police SC 40=20.
