The Sri Lankan peace process: new challenges
The Norwegian led peace process, as in the case
of Palestine-Israel, does not recognise an independent and vibrant
peace movement. The process at civil society level was confined to
Colombo-based NGOs and individuals. The Sri Lanka Government had
constant contact with them; but this engagement took the character
of personal contact.
