Haj pilgrim dies on arrival at BIA

RIYADH: Mustaffa Ahamed Kalanther Lebbe, 70 who could not return home with other Haj pilgrims since he was in a coma for more than a week, died at the Bandaraniake International Airport on arrival, said Masirudeen Inamullah, Sri Lanka's Consul General in Riyadh.

Kalanther Lebbe from Samanthurai was warded at the Al Hera Hospital in Makkah for seven days when he fell into a coma due to stress and high blood sugar.
