ITB BERLIN: The Sri Lanka Tourist Board (SLTB) will increase revenue generated from the CESS Fund to Rs. 1.2 billion by end 2006 SLTB Chairman Udaya Nanayakkara said.

Treasury to provide Rs. 300 million for CFC

ASSISTANCE: The treasury will provide nearly Rs 300 million for proposed projects of Ceylon Fisheries Corporation (CFC) for this year. Under the proposed projects, CFC expects to purchase two mother vessels to collect fish from vessels in deep sea, said Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Minister Felix Perera.
