Pakistani Navy vessel here soon

The Pakistan Navy ship (PNS) Shahjahan will visit Sri Lanka shortly, officials said yesterday. The ship equipped with latest stat-of-the-art weapons and sensors has a crew of over 300, including 14 officers, said the High Commission Defence Advisor Col. Imran.

Danish TV exposes LTTE harassment of Tamils

Copenhagen: The Danish State Television on their prime time news on Sunday reported the LTTE front organisations in Denmark were suppressing Sri Lankan Tamils living here to raise funds for the LTTE. The news said over 11,000 Tamil families living Denmark is harassed as a result of LTTE extortions carried out in a very secretive manner.
