NCCSL, Austrian help for tsunami ravaged industries
The SME Disaster Rehabilitation Reconstruction
Project initiated by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka
in association with Hilfswerk, Austria, extended assistance to
tsunami affected SMEs in Kalutara, Galle, Matara and Hambantota
districts to enable them to recommence their businesses.

High incidence of pilferage at Colombo Port
There are over 2000 motor vehicles lying at the
Colombo Port of which over 400 are detained by Sri Lanka Customs for
investigations and around 650 vehicles have been forfeited.
