Tuberculosis poses a global threat
ASSUMED by most to be a bygone disease is back
with a vengeance. "Associated in the minds of many with
turn-of-the-century romantic poets. TB as it is commonly known, is
once again posing a serious health threat in the industrialised
world and is running out of control in the developing world", warns
the World Health Organization (WHO).
