President increases Mahapola bursary by Rs. 500
PRESIDENT Mahinda Rajapakse yesterday pledged to
increase the Mahapola scholarship bursary for university students by
Rs 500 each. Addressing a ceremony at the Presidential Secretariat
to handover Mahapola scholarships, the President said the decision
was taken in accordance with a pledge made in the Mahinda Chinthana.

All evidence points finger at LTTE - Security Forces
THE Security Forces categorically stated
yesterday that they have both material and personal evidence to
establish that the perpetrators of Saturday's attack on the Sri
