Market up

Bourse: The market was up yesterday. The All Share Price Index (ASPI) rose by 15.74 points to 2262.58 points and the Milanka Price Index (MPI) also climbed up by 16.40 points to 2875.71 points.

The total equity turnover was Rs. 226.9 million for the day.

The net foreign inflows were Rs. 27.5 million with foreign purchases registering Rs. 65.5 millions and foreign sales registering Rs. 38 million during the course of the day. The total market capitalization was Rs. 687.7 billion for the day.

The top five gainers were Reefcomber 1/- (N), Lankem Dev. (N), Hayleys Exports (N), CIT (N), Ceylinco Ins. (N). The top five losers were Col Pharmacy 5/- (N), Asha Central (N), Dockyard (N), Kelani Valley (N), Maskeliya (N).
