Aesthetic teachers to be recruited

BINGIRIYA: Measures are taken to fill aesthetic teacher vacancies.
"There is a shortage of aesthetic teachers in government schools all
over the country and the ministry is planning to recruit 8000 teachers
for dancing, music and arts in the near future," said Kurunegala
Assistant Director of Education J.M. Amarapala.
Addressing a conference of Vice Principals of Kurunegala district at
Bingiriya education office auditorium Amarapala said the government has
decided to fill all the vacancies of teachers in schools during this
year and the 10,000 management assistants working at schools too will be
absorbed in to the teaching profession.
These recruits will be appointed to remote schools where teacher
vacancies exist.
Teacher trainees passing out from National Colleges of Education
after training will be appointed to remote schools for their one year
practical training, he said. |
