Bartlett is appointed CEO of JWT

Patrick Pitcher CEO Asia Pacific South announced the appointment of Thayalan Bartlett as the new CEO of JWT Colombo with immediate effect.

Thayalan takes over from Ms. Neelanie Goonetillake who served the company as President for the past six years. She is now to function as a Non-Executive Chairman.

Thayalan Bartlett has been working for JWT Colombo for 20 years; prior to taking this position as CEO he held the portfolio of Vice-President and Client Services Director of the Colombo office.

Pitcher commended Ms. Neelanie Goonetillake for her leadership during her tenure, which he said has seen the company grow in strength and stature placing JWT in the forefront of brand communications in Sri Lanka.

Colvyn Harris former CEO of JWT Colombo and present CEO JWT India joined Mr. Pitcher by congratulating Thayalan and welcoming him into his new role as CEO.
