Let us unite to defeat terrorism - President
The country today is facing a terrorist menace.
This is not a time where we can afford to be divided in to different
groups. All of us must unite now to find a solution to the national

US $26 million Korean help for Hambantota
The Korean Government yesterday pledged US $ 26
million worth of development assistance to expedite the development
work in the Hambantota District. US$ 20 million of this development
assistance will be by way of a soft loan while US $ 6 million will
be an outright grant.
