Pramuka to open as Sri Lanka Savings Bank
Laws of incorporation in Parliament on July 7
The Government has decided to incorporate
the Pramuka Savings and Development Bank to the proposed Sri Lanka
Savings Bank (SLSB). Laws would be presented in Parliament on July 7
to transfer all assets of the Pramuka Bank to the proposed SLSB.

planning to present the Electricity Reforms Bill before the
Parliament during the first week of July, Ministry sources said.

Fertiliser subsidy for vegetable and coconut growers
The Government has decided to provide a
fertiliser subsidy for small-scale vegetable and coconut growers
from the next season. It expects to increase the productivity of
vegetables and coconut with the implementation of this subsidy which
was restricted to paddy farmers earlier.
