Tax payers increase by 15,400
The Department of Inland Revenue was able to
attract nearly 15,400 new individual taxpayers in the past six
months. Commissioner General of Department of Inland Revenue A.A.
Wijepala told the Daily News that the department target was to gain
30,000 new individual taxpayers for this year.
