Sylvester Memorial cager tourney

BASKETBALL: The `Sydney Romould Sylvester' Memorial, Five-a-Side Kandy District Basketball Championship organised by the Antonians' Cager Club, Kandy for the second successive year will be worked off at the St. Anthony's College, Basketball Courts, Kandy on October 14 and 15.

The event is open for all schools and clubs in Kandy district and both boys and girls Basketball teams will be in display in this tourney.

Seven girls teams and ten boys teams have confirmed their participation.

Participating teams (girls) - Pushpadana Girls' College, Colombo International School, Hillwood College, Good Shepherd Convent, Girls' High School, Kandy, Mahamaya Girls' College, University of Peradeniya.

Boys - Antonians' Cager Club, St. Anthony's College, Trinity College, Old Trinity Cager Club, A. Ratnayake Vidyalaya, Walala, Azar College, Akurana, Kingswood College, University of Peradeniya, Colombo International School, National Seminary, Ampitiya.
