Kulanaka, Madushani clinch TT titles

Table Tennis: Kulanaka Asel Hendahewa (Royal College) and Madushani Perera (St.Joseph's BMV, Nugegoda) clinched the All Island Open Intermediate Men's and Women's Singles titles respectively at the All Island Open Table Tennis championships worked off at the S.Thomas' College, Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia over the week end. The events worked off were, for Novices Boys, Girls, Men, Women Veterans and Intermediate.

Kulanaka also went onto win Novices Mens Singles title. The pair of Girls' High School, Mount Lavinia Zameela Jiffria and Iresha Kawshani put up a fine performance to win a double as they emerged champions in both Intermediate Womens Doubles and Novices Womens Doubles.

Iresha Kawshani of Girls' High School, Mt.Lavinia and Gihan Hulangamuwa of Dharmaraja College also won two individual titles each.The championship was conducted by Nugegoda Table Tennis Club.
