SriLankan Airlines swimmers win TTSC title

SWIMMING: SriLankan Airlines continued their dominance in the Travel Trade Swimming scene when they swept the board to retain the overall Championship Cup for the eleventh successive year, at the Silver Jubilee Travel Trade Sports Club mens & women's Swimming Championships, held at the D.S. Senanayake College Pool last Sunday.

The meet was sponsored by SriLankan Airlines for the sixth successive year. Thirteen TTSC member firms participated for which 35 events were worked off for both categories, including the invitation relays for Clubs and the U-15 dependents race for boys and girls

Chief guest M.M. Ali Kamil, Head of Human Resources, SriLankan Airlines, and Prasanjit Perera, President, TTSC, Ajith Fernando, Chairman, Sports Council, SriLankan Airlines & Mrs. Meena Lee, Head of Customer Care, Lanka Bell gave away the trophies, medals, certificates to winners.

Results Overall Championship:

1.SriLankan Airlines (152 points) 2.Heritance, Ahungalla 3. Club Bentota 4. Golden Sun Resort, Kalutara 5. Cinnamon Grand.
