The national cricket selectors yesterday recalled
three veterans Russel Arnold, Upul Chandana and Nuwan Zoysa and left
out Chamara Kapugedera for Sri Lanka's tour of India next month.

Nishan Jayasundera with five points from five
rounds emerged champion at the Western Province Novices Chess
tournament. This is the qualifying event for the National Novices
Chess Championship which is scheduled to be conducted in the latter
