Correct political, military leadership led to security forces' victory:

The correct political and military leadership coupled with the dedication of the valiant soldiers paved the way for the biggest defeat for the LTTE in Vakarai and Kathirveli in the face of Security Forces humanitarian mission liberate 41,000 civilians, the field commanders of the Army who were celebrating their victory in Kathirveli and Vakarai told the Daily News.
