Two killed, 40 injured in bus mishap

TELDENIYA:A bus from Teldeniya, bound to Wendaruwa plunged into a precipice in Wendaruwa, Teldeniya, yesterday around 4.30 p.m. killing two including a schoolgirl and injuring 40 passengers.

The deceased schoolgirl is reported to be a student of Walala Central College. Fifteen of the injured who were in serious condition were admitted to the Kandy General Hospital. The others were admitted to the Teldeniya District Hospital.
