CB sees cheque transaction boom after CIT entry
The Central Bank (CB) is anticipating a major
boom in the cheque transaction system in the country within the next
few years with the introduction of the Cheque Imaging and Truncation
System (CIT) system, its sources said.

People’s Bank sponsors CatGen training programme
SMEs participating in the CATGEN Project
conducted by the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE),

Houses at a standard price from HDFC Real Estate Development Ltd
HDFC Bank is to introduce standard prices for
housing units build by their subsidiary HDFC Real Estate Development
Ltd. General Manager/ CEO, C.A Sarathchandra told that today the
prices of houses have increased 100 percent and this is an
artificial price increase.
