SWIMMING: Trinity College in the competition for boys and
Rainbows Aquatic in the contest for girls became champions at the first
ever Trinity, Rainbows, Mahamaya Triangular swimming championship held
at the Hillwood College Swimming pool in Kandy.
This triangular contest was a roaring success with a very large
number of events being worked off which gave good exposure to the young
swimmers. Credit should go to the organising Committee headed by Julian
Bolling, Janaka de Silva, Naresha Perera, U.H. Sugath, U.H. Pemlath and
others.
In the competition for boys, Trinity swimmers hold sway accumulating
711 points against 633 by the Rainbow Aquatic.

the championship aggregating 742 against 551 points by Mahamaya Girls
college.
